The Hens of West Hill

We have a wonderful family of hens here, that are looked after by members of staff and of course, our pupils. Pupils are taught how to clean out, handle, collect eggs and generally care for our lovely ladies. They are called:

Miss Henny Penny, Dame Edna, Lady Ayda and Madam Yolko.

A club is run by our Forest Schools expert, Miss Blackburn. Members of the club learn new skills in taking care of our hens.
