World Book Day Sponsored Read 2023

What a fantastic effort everyone has gone to for World Book Day! Thank you so much.

We have been celebrating in lots of ways today and hopefully you saw the happy faces as they paraded this morning.

The children are taking 3 things home today. The first is their WBD token. This can be exchanged at participating shops (usually the big supermarkets) for a free book.

They have also got information and a sponsor form for our Sponsored Read which we launched in assembly today. The sponsored read is to take place during the month of March, with all sponsorship or donations to be completed by the 31st March. This year, we have arranged for this all to be done online. Donations should be made directly to the campaign page on Support Your School (Link below).

Finally, we are very grateful to Rotary who have donated enough books to school, as part of their Books4Home campaign, so that every child can have their own book. Perhaps it will start them off on their sponsored read journey.
