West Hill Are Debate Winners!
On Thursday 12th February West Hill were invited to the council office to join in a debate — we debated 'should school only serve healthy food' — West Hill were assigned the against Argument.
Mr Wheeler, Audrey, George, Sam and Theo went to present their argument to local councillors and our MP Josh Newbury. We are pleased to share that West hill — due to the amazing efforts of the children won the debate and was crowned BEST SCHOOL.
We received a trophy that will be displayed next half term.
Well done to these amazing debaters for having the courage and determination to not only represent their school but also themselves with grace, bravery and courage.
