Year 6 Electricity Voltage Experiment

Year 6 have really enjoyed our topic on electricity this half term. We found that we can discover the voltage of a battery using a multimeter and the different powers of batteries. The bigger they are doesn’t always mean the more powerful!

During our investigation in to how voltage affects the brightness of a light bulb, we used an app to measure the luminosity in lux. We know now that some voltages are too much and a bulb’s filament will blow - oops!
