Year 6 SATs

As you are probably aware, if your child is in Year 6 they will be taking their SATs tests in Reading, Maths, Grammar Punctuation and Spelling, week commencing 9th May 2022.

Parents can help their children to prepare at home by:

• Talking to your child’s class teacher if you have any concerns rather than worry your
  child.
•  Drawing up a timetable of revision—little and often. Spelling, times
  tables and reading are always good to practise.
• Giving your child time to go outside and reduce screen time.
• Supporting your child with any homework tasks and making use of
  revision guides.
• Ensuring your child is sleeping and eating well
• Encouraging your child to have a healthy breakfast every morning.
• Making sure your child has the best possible attendance at school.
