At West Hill, we offer a listening service called HOPE (helping our pupils emotions). This service is available for children from Pre-school to Year 6. Children can be referred by staff, parents or themselves if there has been a recent change in their emotional well being or an upsetting event which they would like to discuss. They meet with a member of staff at least once a week and do lots of activities to help develop emotional resilience, coping strategies and self-regulation.
